Description:

The CarsNow app and software offer consumers the flexibility to rent a 2021 Toyota Camry or a 2020 Tesla Model 3 by the hour, day, or week directly from their mobile devices. To access these services, users need to download the application from the Apple Store onto their preferred device (iPhone or iPad) and complete a simple registration process that includes providing a valid phone number, state ID, credit card details, and email address.

Upon registration, users gain access to features such as viewing past trips, scheduling upcoming trips, searching for available vehicles through the BOOK search function, managing their profile information including payment details, and deactivating their account if needed.

Once a user selects a vehicle based on location using geo-tracking and availability, they can proceed to access the vehicle. The software seamlessly interacts with the vehicle's telematics system through commands issued from the app to unlock, start, and end the rental session. If a user confirms the rental, the vehicle becomes active for the specified duration. Users have the option to cancel within the first 15 minutes of the rental period at no extra cost and can also extend their rental duration within the app.

Customers are required to return the rented vehicle to any of the approved parking sites or hubs, and CarsNow manages the remaining logistics.
